LATEX CARE

To keep your latex in top condition and avoid stains, tears, and damage...

DON’T:

  • Expose latex to direct sunlight: Causes irreversible matte damage.
  • Let latex touch metal: Can cause yellow stains, especially on light latex.
  • Use sharp objects or long nails: Can tear latex easily.
  • Apply lotions or oils before wearing: Degrades latex, affecting flexibility and shine.

DO:

  • Handle latex gently: Avoid pulling or stretching too forcefully.
  • Use talcum powder or silicone lubricant: Helps slide it on latex easily.
  • Shine your latex: Use silicone lubricant or latex shine for a glossy finish.
  • Wash after each wear: in a soapy and lukewarm water, then hang dry.
  • Store properly: Keep latex in a zip lock bag, away from sunlight, and separate by colour.

For Immediate Wear:

  • Use a silicone-based lubricant or latex shine on a cloth to manually bring out the shine.

OR

  • Soak your garnement in lukewarm water with a tablespoon of latex shine, then hang to dry for a perfect glossy finish.
